I am somewhat of a packrat, in both physical and virtual worlds, and I think the ipad's storage is close to full. I've only tried with my spouse, and whenever we try to call each other, it can't connect. Spreadsheets and docs crash very frequently it can't display some pdfs and sometimes it can't load in videos I make on my computer (I make screencast videos and upload them to Google Drive and then try to play them on the ipad).Īlso, I just remembered, it may not take FaceTime calls. And Google Drive seems to be the least functional. I can open my Dropbox documents but can't do anything with them. As far as syncable documents, I'm referring to Dropbox and Google Drive. Safari can't seem to handle certain web sites, and quits sometimes (I'd estimate this happens 5-10% of the pages I go to). Where I run into problems is apps where I'd like to have syncable documents, and with Safari.

IOS 6 an 7 were the only good iOS versions for older iPad models.įor future reference there is a way to temporarily remove an iOS upgrade/update so it can't be downloaded at all. If your iPad 2 is just peachy on iOS 6.1.3, I would NOT upgrade. IOS 6, I feel, was great for older iPads.
